If PaperQuote '01 won't connect to any wallpaper channels, even though you know you have a valid Internet connection, you may be running a personal firewall on your computer.

Your personal firewall software should be configured to allow PQ.exe to use HTTP on port 80. This will allow PaperQuote to run properly with your personal firewall software.

User Tip
To keep PaperQuote from running in the system tray, simply right click on the software and select Tools | Options. Then go to the Automation tab and select Run PaperQuote from Desktop Icon.
